What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a talented and driven Product Manager to join our dynamic team at equipifi. As a Product Manager at equipifi, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our Buy Now Pay Later offerings for Financial Institutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, customer success, marketing, and sales, to drive the discovery and development of new and existing product lines. You will report directly to the Head of Product. The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of strategic thinking, technical acumen in banking cores, and customer-centric focus to ensure our products exceed market expectations.
Responsibilities
- Understand the domain, market and trends to own and drive the development of banking core integrations
- Discovery with financial institutions and partners to define product requirements
- Translate the vision and business strategy into clear, actionable delivery items
- Develop and own the product strategy and roadmap
- Closely collaborate with engineering to deliver solutions
- Manage backlog to determine product alignment and prioritization
- Provide updates to leadership which include details of feature options, tradeoffs, and risks to drive critical product/platform decisions
- Define key metrics and outcomes, translating them into qualitative objectives and quantitative goals
- Balance competing priorities from a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders to consistently deliver the greatest value for equipifi and our customers
Qualifications
- 4+ years of product management, engineering, or technical project management experience
- Minimum of 2 years product management experience
- Experience in Financial Services
- Experience with end-to-end product delivery
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Excellent organization skills with high attention to detail
- Outstanding problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to turn findings into strategic imperatives
- Positive attitude, team-oriented, strong customer focus, and ability to multitask
- High energy, adaptable, self-starter with a growth mindset that is comfortable in a fast-paced environment
Required Qualifications
- Familiarity with banking cores (Symitar, Fiserv, etc.) and digital banking vendors (Q2, NCR, Alkami, etc.)
- Experience working with the Atlassian suite of products (Jira, Confluence)
- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
- Experience with software running in Amazon AWS
