What We're Looking For
We are seeking a talented and driven Jr. Platform Support Engineer to join our dynamic team at equipifi. As a Jr. Platform Support Engineer, reporting to our Technical Support Manager, you will play a crucial role in connecting financial institutions and maintaining the process for the technical onboarding of new and existing customers. You will work closely with the product team to scope out changes that optimize customer onboarding and identify areas for automation. Your technical expertise and problem-solving abilities will help our clients integrate and utilize our platform effectively, ensuring a smooth and positive experience.
Responsibilities
- Financial Institution Configuration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to configure financial institutions within our platforms, ensuring seamless integrations.
- Banking Core and Digital Connections: Work with customers and customer success team members to establish and maintain connections to banking cores and digital banking apps, enabling smooth data exchange and transaction processing.
- Data Analysis: Gather, analyze, and interpret data related to transactions, user behavior, and market trends to drive actionable product led results and continuous improvement and inform leadership decision-making.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance checks on configurations, connections, and new features to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of processes, configurations, and changes to ensure a comprehensive knowledge base.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret complex data sets.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users, including our customers
- Some experience with version management tools and flows as well as Atlassian suite of products
- Experience with MS Excel (power) and other MS Office tools
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills and familiarity with web technologies (HTML, JS, etc.), APIs (Rest, SOAP), and databases (Mysql).
- Experience building product requirements and creating user stories.
- Experience developing software either individually or with a team.
