Role Overview

As a Data Analyst, you will work closely with cross-functional teams (Execs, Product, Customer Success, Marketing, and Sales) to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making both from requests from the business as well as those you personally uncover. Reporting to the CFO, you will leverage Snowflake and Metabase for business intelligence (BI), perform ad hoc analyses, and contribute to data visualization and reporting. Additionally, you'll collaborate with stakeholders on business requirements, work with HubSpot, Log Rocket and other similar software tools, and ensure high data quality and integrity across our platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain BI dashboards and reports in Metabase for internal and external stakeholders to
  • gather actionable insights on our BNPL platform data and usage
  • monitor KPIs and operational metrics
  • identify trends and anomalies for follow-up by stakeholders
• Query and analyze large datasets using Snowflake to identify trends, opportunities, and performance gaps
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define success metrics, and deliver insights
• Perform ad-hoc deep-dive analyses to answer key business questions and support strategic initiatives
• Maintain and improve data pipelines, ensuring accuracy and usability for downstream analytics
• Partner with engineering and product teams to ensure data availability, quality, and structure align with reporting needs
• Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and automation in reporting and analytics workflows
• Proactively provide actionable recommendations based on insights that drive business performance and growth
• Document methodologies, dashboards, and data definitions to ensure consistency and clarity across teams

Qualifications & Skills

• 2–4 years of experience as a Data Analyst, BI Analyst, or similar role, ideally within fintech, SaaS, or high-growth startups.
• Proficiency in SQL (Snowflake experience preferred) and ability to query and manipulate complex datasets.
• Hands-on experience with BI tools (Metabase preferred, but Tableau, Looker, or Power BI also considered).
• Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce or HubSpot, including reporting and data extraction.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to translate data into actionable business insights for non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment and manage multiple priorities independently.
• A self-starter mindset with infinite curiosity and the drive to continuously learn and improve.

• Experience working with data pipelines or ETL tools.
• Knowledge of Python or R for advanced data analysis.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Streamlit for building quick POC’s.
• Familiarity with SaaS or fintech metrics (e.g., customer acquisition cost, LTV, conversion funnels).
